“ Amazing pasta not your regular combinations!! Loved the pistachios and asparagus in the pasta which gave a great crunch. The garlic puffs were very airy and were truly garlicky. We tried the mushroom Pizza and it was delicious. I would love to see some wild mushroom combination in the mix along with some truffle oil. But overall it tasted good. The portions were great and we ended up having it as another meal later. The old fashioned was made to perfection. The views of sunset was unexpected and it added a cherry on top. ”
“ I recently ate here for the first time as part of a large work group dinner. The staff were very friendly and professional. I really appreciated their attitude and attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried several appetizers I think my favorite were the garlic puffs. But honestly, the pizza is the star of the show! The pepperoni one is amazing and the hot honey really adds a nice touch. The Fig and Pig was good but I would add a balsamic drizzle to make it even better. The cookie skillet dessert was decadent and super rich and yummy. I think the music could be improved maybe some nice jazz or something more low key. Overall, this was place was great and I would definitely go back! ”
“ Our first visit to Bar Salotto, but definitely not our last. We had the WagyuVeal meatballs they were great! Dense and moist. We each got salads the chopped and kale. Super fresh ingredients. I judge all restaurants by the freshness of their salads. Ours were crisp and delicious. We werent hungry enough for entrees but that will be for next time. Especially excited to try their pan pizza and spicy vodka dish. Clean, modern design, great service and plenty of parking. Price is subjective, but we thought prices were very reasonable for portion size and quality. We will definitely be back. ”

From the hostess, to the server, to both chefs who came to the table and oh my GOD, the food. Im 53 and have lived in Chicago my whole life. I know good food. THIS is amazing food. We had three apps, the salmon, and three different pasta dishes and a pepperoni pizza for the table. Simply outstanding. 5 are just not enough. ”
